This is a personal passion project I worked on after hours to celebrate the Year of the Dragon in 2012. What began as a small creative experiment quickly grew into a much larger endeavor, turning into a tribute piece inspired by the iconic film Enter the Dragon, Bruce Lee’s first and only major Hollywood production. I still remember watching it as a kid and being captivated by its energy and style, which sparked the idea for this animated tribute.
Each shot was posterized and treated in a watercolor style to evoke a painterly, expressive feel. Dynamic brush strokes splash and animate in sync with the movement, bringing a fluid and rhythmic energy to the piece. This project became a meaningful way to merge personal nostalgia with visual storytelling.
