This promo package for Sportsnet was created to elevate the presentation of NHL content through a bold and cinematic visual approach. I was responsible for key elements of the design and motion, contributing to a toolkit that introduced a fresh branded experience centered around impact and energy.

The concept for the ident focused on a frozen hockey puck traveling with force across the screen, revealing itself as it moves through space. The puck eventually collides with the surface of a rink, triggering the reveal of the Sportsnet branded environment known as the Edge world. This moment was designed to feel sharp, clean, and impactful, setting the tone for the visuals that followed. To transition into gameplay and promo footage, I introduced streaks of glowing blue and red light, mirroring the Sportsnet brand colors, that sliced through the darkness and activated key elements on screen. These light trails served both as a transition device and a visual bridge between the stylized world and the real-game action.

This project was a collaborative effort by the Rogers Creative Group, and I’m proud to have contributed to a package that successfully combined narrative motion, brand identity, and high-end polish.
